The bridge over the Dargle River at Glensoulan Co Wicklow  has been repaired. ( OSI SHEET 56) The Wicklow Way Partnership coordinated the repair. This is the first repair and maintenance work done by this Group. A machine operator placed two new steel RSJ stringers across the river on Friday, 09 December and placed the original bridge structure on top of these. Consequently the bridge span is longer than before the damage.

A group of Mountain Meitheal Volunteers placed new boards across the new section and repaired the approaches to both sides of the Bridge on Saturday, 10 December.
