I am enthusiastic, positive and I enjoy working as part of a team. My experiences as an Architect and Adventurous Sports Instructor have developed my natural skills in dealing with different types of people using humour and adaptability as my tools. As a Secondary School Teacher I bring practiced teaching and learning techniques into the outdoor environment.
I have a love of natural history, with a keen interest in how the environment plays a role in our lives and how we can influence the world around us. I believe adventure sports can create greater personal and environmental awareness and can improve people’s lives.
I have come to realise that my pursuits and interests are driven by a deep desire to learn about the world around me. I have always had an enthusiasm to share that desire and a natural ability to teach.
