11th And 12th Of Febuary
This is a Whitewater style Kayak race down one of Irelands most popular sctions of white water, Jackson Falls.
This is the 2nd year that Total Experience are running the Wacko on the jacko.
The race is run on the legendary Avonmore River Co Wicklow.. And race will consist of Boater Cross & team Short course
Day 1
The Boater cross ,heats of four people winner progresses
Classes Men’s expert and sport -Women’s expert and sport – Junior boy /girl.
Afternoon team short course on the lead into jackson’s. Paddles up style with surprises along the course .
Day 2
Team long course Troopers-town to Jackson 2km paddle team must look after there own safety. Junior teams need a shadow instructor.
This is one of the most popular races on the kayak calendar. It fill up quick so it is advised to get in early with your booking for individual race and team event.
Total Experience have been running events and comps like this for years now so you can expect a well run event without any problems, the only thing this company cant control is the water levels, we will all just have to pray for rain on the lead up to the race.
Car pooling is advised, And early registration is a must.
